VISIT THE BIGGEST ACTIVE SAND DRIFT IN WESTERN EUROPE

SUP THE BERKEL

MOUNTAINBIKE DOWN THE SINGLE TRACKS IN THE DUNES

program

On this (road)trip there’s something for everyone: SUPping, beer tasting, urban art, hiking and a lot of nature!

On this trip we’ll dive into nature, we’ll see it from the road by bike, from the water by SUP and from the sand by foot.

DAY 1

The scenery in this part of the Netherlands has blown us away. We’ll get to know each other while strolling through Western-Europe’s biggest active sand drift.

DAY 2

We’ll go from the sand to the water where we’ll do a SUP-tour with the young entrepreneurs of SUP@Zutphen (they started when they were 15, how cool is that!). We’ll finish the day nice and calm at our friends of East Nomads, where they have cold beer and perhaps even some live music if we’re lucky..!

DAY 3

We’ll enjoy a well deserved relax-day where we’ll take a bike and wander through the little villages in the Achterhoek and perhaps take a dive in the nearby pretty lake in Winterswijk. At the end of the day we’ll again enjoy our stay (in the bus) at East Nomads in Aalten.

DAY 4

We’ll get back on our feet and make our way to our friends in Arnhem. On this beautiful, special location that we have fallen in love with, we’ll set up camp and the daredevils among us can jump on a board and go wake-boarding (included). Prefer to take it easy? No problem! There’s a beach right in front of our bus and the city isn’t far away either.

DAY 5

We’ll make our way further south and settle down in Groesbeek, where we’ll find one of the top 10 mountain bike routes in The Netherlands. We’ll relax at the pretty campsite, explore the surroundings, and for the ones who want: jump on the mountain bike (optional)!

We won’t be the only ones here, since today there will be the annually typical ‘dorpsfeest’ : the Groesbeekse kermis! Time to ‘proost’ together with all the locals here.

DAY 6

Today, we’ll visit the city of Nijmegen, which has a lot of hidden pearls that breath urban-art all over it. We’ll visit the Honig area and pop open a drink (and perhaps show some dance-moves) in De Kaaij.

DAY 7

Time to pack our bags and go back home. We’ll enjoy breakfast together and take you to the train station at 11.00 A.M.

the bus

At the end of the day, when you just want to chill, we’ll be waiting there with your home for the coming days.

Fully equipped with heating, kitchen, bathroom, comfy beds, a big lounge and of course…a fire pit!

Of course part of the fun is to be driving around in our ancient bus, transformed from an old public transport bus into a comfortable hostel on the move.

We’ll be on a roadtrip to discover the province. Our bus will take us from A to B (if we’re lucky;)).

You’ll have your own bed, with curtains to provide some privacy. Upstairs you’ll also find the lounge with a view, while downstairs is the living area, with kitchen, bathroom and dining area. Both areas have what we call in Dutch ‘ARKO’ (Alle Ramen Kunnen Open’) and a heating system for the colder nights.

So, hop hop, train your muscles because we might need you cutting vegetables or pushing the bus up the hill every now and then! All part of the adventure!

SEE YOU ON THE ROAD

Jolisa, Eileen, Saskia & Lisa

SO, ARE YOU SURE YOU’RE READY TO STEP ON THE BUS?

YOU WON’T JUST JOIN THE ADVENTURE
YOU’LL BE PART OF THE ADVENTURE!

Once you step on the bus, you’ll be part of our team.

We’ll call on you to crawl underneath the bus when needed, to chop the broccoli and to turn on the bonfire.

And more than anything…

TO ENJOY THE FULL RIDE!

YIIIHAAA! WE ARE GOING ON AN ADVENTURE!
